About the Role

The Operations Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for a team member to work cross-functionally and learn the fundamentals of fulfillment operations, logistics, and master data management. This position will support the execution of tasks with a high requirement for accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will thrive on being exposed to and working in different functional areas and will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. They will also take pride in their core responsibilities while enthusiastically responding to the new and varied tasks that can arise in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in management of fulfillment 3PLs including monitoring and reporting of SLA performance.
  • Process backorder fulfillment with cross-functional involvement from Inventory and Merchandising teams.
  • Monitor and audit fulfillment integrations between Shopify, NetSuite, and warehouse management systems, identifying and working to resolve any exceptions.
  • Support Amazon business operations including audit of Amazon activity and expense reporting.
  • Support drop-ship integration with SPS, including assisting with onboarding new partners and resolving exceptions.
  • Audit fulfillment invoices, identifying any discrepancies and working with internal and external partners for resolution.
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis on fulfillment metrics (transit times, freight expense, cost per order, cost per carton, etc.).

Logistics

  • Engage with freight partners to coordinate both inbound and outbound shipments, handling both domestic and international logistics and meeting delivery requirements.
  • Research market rates and obtain provider quotes to ensure the most cost-effective carrier rates.
  • Audit and report actualized freight to ensure invoice accuracy and inform margin reporting.

Master Data Management

  • Set up new SKUs, virtual SKUs, SKU bundles, and Amazon ASINs across host systems, auditing as necessary to ensure data is universally consistent.
  • Modify existing SKUs, virtual SKUs, SKU bundles, and Amazon ASINs across the host system, auditing changes as necessary to ensure data is universally consistent.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of SKU master data, subscription pricing, and Amazon ASINs.
  • Work with brand, merchandising, and inventory teams to find creative solutions to new business opportunities that require innovative SKU configuration solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Customer Service, Inventory, or Business Operations role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required (i.e., proficiency with functions such as index, pivot tables, and data import).
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Collaborative and energetic individual with a positive attitude and hands-on mentality.
  • Unbiased and honest communicator. Ability to distill and articulate complex data in a clear way that can drive business decisions.
  • An aptitude and enjoyment of mastering and working in systems like Shopify or NetSuite.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred but not required.

The reasonably expected pay for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 for the level scoped. Your pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. A higher or lower pay range may apply if you are considered for a different level. This position is also eligible for stock options and a competitive benefits package.
