Your Impact on our Mission

As a Staff Product Manager for Sponsored Results, you will own one of Zocdoc’s most critical monetization pillars, defining the strategy, roadmap, and performance of patient-facing advertising across search and discovery. You will be responsible for driving meaningful improvements in revenue, conversion, and marketplace efficiency, while ensuring ads remain relevant, trustworthy, and additive to the patient experience. You will shape the core systems that power Sponsored Results, including auction design, ranking, and pricing, and identify new monetization opportunities across emerging surfaces in the Zocdoc app
You’ll enjoy this role if you are…
- Experienced in monetization and ads, with strong intuition for how marketplaces balance user value and revenue growth
- Data-driven, with strong experimentation instincts and the ability to define success metrics, evaluate results rigorously, and make clear product decisions
- An effective collaborator who can influence senior cross-functional partners across Engineering, Design, Search, and ML
- Motivated by building zero-to-one products and evolving them into scaled, durable businesses
Your day-to-day is…
- Owning a significant share of Ads revenue through Sponsored Results
- Responsible for driving measurable improvements in revenue, yield, and marketplace efficiency
- Reviewing patient UXR and behavioral data to understand what quality signals matter most when choosing a provider
- Scoping new advertising opportunities in the Zocdoc app
- Working with Design to iterate on new ad placements and refine the patient experience
- Running an ad slot experiment to improve conversion
- Digging into metrics to map how patient traffic impacts conversion rates
You’ll be successful in this role if you have…
- 6+ years of product experience, ideally substantial time in adtech, advertising platforms, or marketplace monetization
- Demonstrated success in owning and driving objective improvements in key business metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and executives
- Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to solve some of healthcare’s most challenging problems
- Experience working on ML or AI driven products and systems a plus
