Your Impact on our Mission:

As a Production Designer at Zocdoc, your work will improve our user experience by helping us evolve and unify the Zocdoc product across platforms. Zocdoc's mission is centered around improving access to healthcare by connecting patients with healthcare providers. This role will focus on fostering user engagement, simplifying the healthcare journey, building trust, and providing a seamless and accessible platform for connecting patients with healthcare providers.

Like to work closely with UX/UI designers to understand the overall design vision and user experience goals.
Are motivated to ensure accurate and pixel-perfect implementation of design elements and want to contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of design systems and style guides.
Stay updated on the latest platform guidelines for iOS and Android and ensure designs comply with platform-specific conventions.

In your day-to-day, you’ll do things like:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to define and implement a comprehensive design system.
Create and maintain design system components, including UI elements, patterns, templates, and documentation, using Figma or similar tools.
Establish and enforce design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability of the design system across the platform.
Conduct regular audits of existing design components and patterns to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Partner with UX/UI designers and design engineers to integrate new features and enhancements into the design system while maintaining alignment with established patterns.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on using the design system effectively and efficiently.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design system methodologies to continuously evolve and improve our design practices.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

Strong Visual Design Skills: 5+ years of visual design experience. Success in a UX production designer role requires a solid foundation in design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
Strong command of Figma: A deep understanding of Figma’s features and functionalities is required. Experience with prototyping tools such as Protopie or Framer is a plus.
Proficient code literacy: Coding capability is not required but knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles is a plus.
Attention to Detail: The ability to pay meticulous attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves translating design concepts into pixel-perfect implementations, ensuring that every element aligns with design specifications and platform guidelines.
Collaborative Mindset: You’ll collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams both in India and the US. The success of your work will depend on building strong relationships with your partners and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Growth Mentality: Continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices, tools, design trends, and technologies are essential for success in this role.
