We at OPG are looking for creative and driven software engineers with passion for Web, Mobile, and/or full stack development to achieve our vision of redefining the future of office app on various platforms with AI enablement as core priority. As the Group Engineer Manager, you will require cross-function integration knowledge, strategic thinking, and superior inter-personal and communication skills. The role is responsible for the overall design and architecture of apps and around the existing landscape, as well as envisaging and enabling future state infrastructures that will support modern, intelligent services and user experiences, through technological innovation and building partnerships across the company.

As the Group Engineer Manager for OPG, you will be responsible for leading a team of ~50 talented, deeply experienced engineers in delivering shared functionalities across platforms. You will collaborate closely with other OPG Group Engineering Managers to deliver ambitious, high-quality, and coherent experiences across the product constellation. You will sustain and support a long history of in-market versions and experiences and drive innovation in our internal and external systems to keep OPG thriving for many decades to come. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 15+ years technical engineering leadership experience.
  • 15+ years of software development experience building commercial grade software, including experience in large scale, high availability services and experiences.
  • 10+ years of experience in product and people leadership, including people management.
  • 15+ years industry experience building, shipping, and sustaining full stack products.
  • Solid understanding of Web architecture, UI frameworks, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with native code integration (JNI) and memory management.
  • Fast learner with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Solid in analytical problem solving and good fundamentals in CS.
  • Passion for learning new skills with the ability to thrive in a feedback-driven environment.
