As part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Product Marketing organization, you'll help define how the world's most innovative organizations adopt and realize value from AI. This role sits at the intersection of executive thought leadership, customer insight, product marketing, and content strategy. We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Copilot Adoption- AI Leader to shape Microsoft's narrative for Chief AI Officers, CIOs, and executive business leaders navigating AI transformation. You will translate emerging AI capabilities, customer evidence, and market trends into compelling executive narratives, frameworks, content experiences, and adoption guidance that help organizations move from experimentation to enterprise-scale AI impact. This role is ideal for someone who combines executive-level communication skills with strong business acumen, curiosity about AI, and a passion for turning complex technology into actionable business value.
Responsibilities
Executive AI Transformation Narrative
- Develop and evolve Microsoft's executive AI transformation narrative for Chief AI Officers and C-suite audiences.
- Create compelling points of view on topics such as AI operating models, AI governance, organizational transformation, workforce productivity, agents, and business process reinvention.
- Translate product capabilities into business outcomes and executive-level value stories.
- Partner across product marketing, research, engineering, and field teams to ensure narrative consistency across customer touchpoints.
Chief AI Officer Content Strategy
- Own content strategy for executive AI leaders across web, events, customer engagements, executive briefings, and digital experiences.
- Create high-value thought leadership content, including executive playbooks, transformation frameworks, value realization guides, industry perspectives, and customer stories.
- Develop content that helps organizations progress through their AI adoption journey, from strategy and readiness to scaled deployment and business transformation.
- Identify content gaps and emerging market opportunities based on customer signals, research, and competitive insights.
Customer Insights & Market Intelligence
- Develop a deep understanding of Chief AI Officers, CIOs, and executive decision-makers, including their priorities, challenges, buying behaviors, and success metrics.
- Synthesize customer research, market trends, adoption data, and field feedback into actionable recommendations.
- Monitor competitive narratives and emerging AI market trends to inform messaging and content strategies.
AI Adoption Experiences
- Partner with web, UX, creative, and engineering teams to build modern executive content experiences that drive engagement and adoption.
- Influence how AI leadership content is surfaced across Microsoft-owned channels.
- Establish content frameworks and quality standards that deliver consistent, executive-ready experiences.
Measurement & Optimization
- Define success metrics for executive content and narrative programs.
- Analyze engagement, adoption, and customer feedback signals to continuously improve effectiveness.
- Use data and experimentation to refine messaging, content formats, and distribution strategies.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
- Experience developing executive-facing narratives, thought leadership, or go-to-market strategies for enterprise technology solutions.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead strategic initiatives in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Experience in AI, cloud, productivity software, enterprise SaaS, or digital transformation.
- Experience engaging executive audiences including CIOs, Chief AI Officers, or business leaders.
- Background in management consulting, business strategy, research, or executive communications.
- Familiarity with AI adoption, organizational change management, value realization, and transformation frameworks.
- Experience leveraging customer research and data to help inform messaging and business strategy.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
