CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. The role forms part of an integrated EPC team to deliver large-scale, campus, and/or subregional-based delivery solutions while also socializing with regional and global leaders. The role focuses on adoption of innovative Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modular & Offsite Fabrication (PPMOF) delivery solutions, utilizing good practices and trends, supports the development and implementation of all associated organizational and process procedures and standards, and ensures they are followed by all team members and vendors. Influences and provides direction and coaching to internal and external partners to facilitate and accomplish complex, critical issues associated with PPMOF, that may significantly impact construction projects. Reviews and provides feedback to the team regarding planning, engineering, procurement, resource allocation, fabrication, pre-commissioning and logistics. Leads the team's accountability for on-schedule delivery of PPMOF across multiple projects by ensuring project PPMOF progress reports including scope, schedule, and budget are provided. Leads and drives coordination for meetings and activities with vendors, cost managers, and/or owner/architect/contractors. Engages, advises, and collaborates with other internal teams. Manages and advocates for safe worksites by adhering to organizational and industry procedures. Establishes, reviews, approves, and communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics, dashboards and/or scorecards to drive progress. Supports the management of vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and prior audit results.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful delivery of PPMOF initiatives across projects in Southeast Asia Subregion, ensuring alignment between design engineering, integration / fabrication assembly, logistics, installation, commissioning, and quality requirements. The role drives planning, engineering, procurement, prefabrication, pre-assembly, modularization, and offsite fabrication adoption, portfolio standardization, and continuous improvement for delivering schedule optimization, enhanced safety and quality outcomes, and reduced onsite construction and Commissioning risk

Budget and Controls

Develops, manages, and reports on the scope, schedule, and budget of the project. Oversees and implements project controls in work activities (e.g., change orders, and pay applications).

Coordination and Communication

Provide leadership and oversight for PPMOF activities, ensuring alignment between design, fabrication, logistics, installation, commissioning, and project stakeholders. Leads and drives coordination for meetings and activities with vendors, cost managers, and/or owner/architect/contractors. Initializes and identifies opportunities to discuss and integrate lessons learned, advocating for safe and secure security-first mindset during project planning.

Act as the primary focal point for PPMOF initiatives, facilitating collaboration, decision-making, and stakeholder alignment across all functions

Drives Results

Influences and provides direction and coaching to internal and external partners to facilitate and accomplish complex, critical issues (PPMOF related) that may significantly impact construction projects (e.g., establishing and executing upon team goals, following business processes, engaging vendor relationships, and fostering cross-group collaboration efforts with the agreed-upon project strategy, milestone delivery, and core values and priorities (Safety, Security, Quality, Schedule, Cost)).

Financial Acumen

Oversees the creation and application of best practices for identifying and driving cost-effective solutions for the strategic and tactical delivery of a construction project.

Goal Alignment

Engages, advises, and collaborates with other internal teams (e.g., Project Controls, Project Engineering, Business Risk Management, etc.) to maintain the corporate vision and create goals for the projects.

Managing Resources

Reviews and provides feedback to the team regarding resource procurement, allocation, and inventory. Ensures storage space is provided for equipment/materials.

Project Management

Oversees the team's deployment of PPMOF delivery solutions (e.g., generally offsite) while also socializing with regional and global teams. Sets goals for internal and external project teams under their purview of responsibility, measures performance against contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and seeks and delivers feedback to achieve timely results that prioritize security in documentation, design, and/or execution.

Project Planning & Tracking

Lead PPMOF planning and execution strategies to optimize schedule performance through integrated design, manufacturing, and site delivery activities. Leads the team's accountability for on-schedule delivery of multiple projects by ensuring project progress reports including scope, schedule, and budget are provided.

Maintain governance records, performance metrics, risk registers, and leadership reports to support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Risk Mitigation

Establishes, reviews, approves, and communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics, dashboards and/or scorecards to drive progress. Analyzes safety and security metrics and communicates and applies results to drive project action and individual development to lower-level staff and vendors.

Safety and Regulation

Manages and advocates for safe worksites by adhering to organizational and industry procedures. Reviews prior audit results and relevant legislation in order to recommend and manage safety and security compliance. Shares lessons learned with relevant stakeholders. Promote safe delivery by embedding modular construction principles that reduce onsite risk and ensure compliance with Microsoft EHS standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Acumen

Analyzes and recommends innovative PPMOF delivery options utilizing best practices and trends, supports the development and implementation of all organizational procedures and standards, and ensures they are followed by all team members and vendors with adherence to security core priorities and guidelines.

Identify and resolve design, manufacturing, logistics, and execution challenges to maintain project safety, quality, and schedule objectives.

Vendor Management

Directs and oversees the management of vendors, ensuring compliance with security policies, non-disclosure agreements, contracts, and prior audit results. Controls vendor performance relative to cash flow and budget summaries (with cost management support). Provides direction and correction to vendors and internal support teams as needed.

Vendor Selection

Manages the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Project Expenditure Requests (PERs), and other project approval tools and templates. Identifies and directs vendor scope of work, design review of site and building plans, change orders, and invoices.

Quality

Drive quality excellence by establishing and enforcing fabrication, inspection, testing, and handover requirements to achieve consistent first-time-right outcomes.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working on data center / mission critical facility projects.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction health & safety knowledge.
  • Experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects.
  • Good knowledge of Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modularization, Offsite Fabrication (PPMOF) and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) principles, including module development, standardization, and manufacturing integration.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks, drive standardization, manage decision gates, and lead cross-project replication initiatives.
  • Expertise in coordinating design, fabrication, logistics, installation, commissioning, and handover activities to achieve schedule certainty and delivery efficiency.
  • Good understanding of MEP systems, modular construction, production engineering, constructability reviews, fabrication processes, FAT/SAT, and commissioning requirements.
  • Experience managing OEMs, fabricators, integrators, logistics providers, and supplier qualification processes to ensure delivery readiness and performance.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC systems, ITPs, FAT/FWT requirements, risk mitigation, and Microsoft EHS principles to deliver safe, first-time-right outcome.
  • High personal standard to deliver a thoughtful, polished and quality work product.
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
