We are hiring a Service Engineer II - A365 and AI Admin to deliver A365 and AI Administration for the MSD M365 MultiTenant team. You will help administer, implement, and evolve how we configure, govern, and operate the Microsoft 365 and AI administration control planes, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, across Microsoft's internal tenants. You will partner closely with software engineers to develop and operate Microsoft Graph-based automation, policy-as-code solutions, and governance capabilities that enforce configuration baselines, detect drift, and help mitigate administration and AI-related risks at scale. The role interfaces across Microsoft 365 workloads while maintaining a primary focus on A365 and AI Administration capabilities.
This opportunity will allow you to build expertise in AI administration, governance, and security; develop hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph, automation, and multitenant operations; and help shape the operational foundations for Microsoft's next generation of AI-enabled administration experiences. You will bring a security mindset to everything you operate, including administrative permissions, data access boundaries, policy enforcement, and audit telemetry as part of your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- You will administer Microsoft 365 and AI administration capabilities across Microsoft internal tenants, including tenant configuration, administrative controls, service onboarding, and operational governance activities.
- You will support administration of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, connectors, and related AI capabilities by implementing approved configurations, policies, and operational controls.
- You will develop and maintain automation using Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, APIs, and policy-driven tooling to improve consistency, reduce manual administration effort, and support fleet-scale operations.
- You will monitor service health, audit events, usage telemetry, and operational signals across M365 and AI administration surfaces; investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
- You will participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and service improvement activities for platforms and capabilities owned by the team.
- You will partner with software engineers, security engineers, and service owners to implement governance requirements, configuration baselines, and operational best practices across multiple tenants.
- You will contribute to documentation, operational runbooks, and engineering standards that improve the reliability, security, and scalability of A365 and AI administration services.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Experience administering Microsoft cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Experience using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs, scripting, or automation technologies to administer, monitor, or manage cloud services.
- Experience supporting secure service operations, including role-based access control, least-privilege administration, auditing, compliance requirements, or operational governance practices.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent 365 (A365), Power Platform AI capabilities, or comparable AI administration and governance platforms.
- Experience operating services across multiple Microsoft 365 tenants, including delegated administration, configuration management, baseline enforcement, or drift detection.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph, Power Platform administration, Dataverse administration, or tenant management automation.
- Experience with Kusto, Geneva, IcM, Azure Monitor, or comparable telemetry, monitoring, and operational tooling.

Service Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
