Responsibilities
- Define product strategy for trust, abuse prevention, platform integrity, identity, and responsible platform growth.
- Partner with Engineering, Security, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams to identify and mitigate platform risks.
- Develop threat models across emerging AI systems, developer platforms, APIs, marketplaces, and ecosystem integrations.
- Design and prioritize controls spanning identity, verification, monitoring, behavioral detection, policy enforcement, and misuse prevention.
- Balance platform openness and developer experience with business, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Define success metrics and operating mechanisms for abuse prevention, trust, and platform health.
- Drive decision-making across multiple teams where ownership boundaries may evolve over time.
- Help shape long-term platform strategy as AI products expand to broader developer and customer audiences.
- Communicate complex tradeoffs to executives, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience building trust, safety, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, security, compliance, identity, payments, or platform integrity systems.
- Experience working on AI products, marketplaces, cloud platforms, developer ecosystems, search products, content platforms, or consumer-scale services.
- Experience defining product strategy in ambiguous environments with significant organizational interdependencies.
- Experience employing systems thinking to balance risk reduction with customer growth.
- Experience partnering closely with Legal, Security, Trust & Safety, Data Science, and Engineering organizations.
- Experience communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
