The Agentic Security team in Microsoft Security is looking for an experienced Business Manager to join the Executive Office and support the Leadership Team. This role will report to the Chief of Staff and provide business operations support to senior leaders across the organization, including rhythm of business planning, team communications, event logistics, content management, headcount and budget processes, and AI-enabled operational improvements.

Agentic Security is building the industry’s most effective agentic security system, enabling organizations to shift from human-led security operations to trusted autonomous protection powered by Microsoft’s comprehensive security signals and threat intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to help scale the operating model for a new, AI-first organization with significant customer, product, and business impact.

A successful candidate will have experience supporting a senior (VP or higher) Leadership Team member in a fast-paced environment, with strong planning, organization, time management, communication, and prioritization skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating through ambiguity, adapting quickly as business needs evolve, and willing to learn and use AI tools to improve business operations, communications, and decision support. They must be able to stay focused under pressure, maintain positive and professional interactions, and build credibility with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Rhythm of Business - Lead, coordinate, and continuously improve the team RoB to drive efficiency, accountability, and operational clarity across leadership meetings, org communications, business reviews, finance reviews, people/org health rhythms, AMAs, town halls, customer/industry engagements, and other key forums. Capture decisions and outcomes, ensure follow-up, provide timely visibility, and improve processes and tools that support organizational efficiency.

  • Content Management - Ensure team SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and team hubs are maintained with key materials, including CVP announcements, org priorities, meeting notes, meeting agendas, action items, AMA/town hall materials, templates, and business operations resources.

  • Design and execute high-quality leadership forums and team engagements including AMAs, Townhalls, in partnership with the admin team, ensuring clear outcomes, strong attendee experience, and follow-through.

  • Coordinate and prepare content and agendas for leadership engagements, including all-hands, AMAs, town halls, LT offsites, customer meetings, EBCs, business reviews, and cross-Microsoft Security forums.

  • Manage team vendor budget and planning in partnership with investment area owners, Finance, and business operations partners. Work with EA, admin, HR, recruiting, and finance partners on staffing progress, headcount models, hiring state, PCN/requisition processes, and organizational updates.

  • Support organization culture and people rhythms, including listening sessions, Signals follow-up, Connect cycles, onboarding moments, recognition, service awards, and org health activities.

  • Partner with Business Managers, the Executive Office, and Microsoft Security partners to scale best practices, common templates, and business operations processes for consistency.

  • Create, track, and report on organizational and business performance metrics relevant to Agentic Security priorities, business operations, people rhythms, finance/headcount processes, and leadership decision-making.

  • Support organizational change management activities, including reorg planning, communications workbacks, leadership updates, distribution list and access updates, and post-announcement follow-through.

  • Additional projects as Agentic Security business needs evolve.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Practical fluency with AI tools to improve communications, content management, operational workflows, data synthesis, and decision support

  • Ability to manage highly sensitive or personal matters with tact and the utmost confidentiality

  • Proactive collaborator; drive and initiative with a positive and professional approach



Business Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.

Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
