Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of employee communications across Germany & Austria Area (GmbH wide and MCAPS related), including leader communications, all-hands, town halls, SharePoint sites, organizational emails, kick-offs, and other engagement channels.
  • Create high-quality communications assets and executive content, including briefing documents, talk tracks, presentations, video scripts, and storytelling materials that align with corporate guidance, policies, and business priorities.
  • Drive integrated communications planning and editorial cadence, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and narrative across channels while coordinating efforts to avoid duplication or conflicting communications.
  • Partner closely with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop employees communications strategies, adapting narratives in real time based on feedback, engagement, and organizational needs.
  • Use insights, data, and storytelling to inform, educate, and engage employees, strengthen leadership communications and executive social presence, and promote positive perceptions of Microsoft across internal audiences.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND some years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Professional fluency in both German and English

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND several years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience
    • some years specialized functional (e.g., retail, technology) experience
    • some years experience supporting executives in an executive communications role
    • some years experience working with social media platforms

In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site.

This is a temporary/fixed-term position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027.


Communications IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 64,800.00 - € 108,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
