Senior Product Manager - Microsoft Fabric
Product
Illinois, USA
Microsoft Fabric is transforming how organizations use real-time data and AI. Eventhouse is the high-scale analytics engine behind this shift - powering mission-critical dashboards, streaming analytics, and low-latency decision making.
We’re looking for a highly senior Product Manager to join our team and help drive Eventhouse product experience and growth strategy across Microsoft Fabric. This role requires deeply understanding the customer journey, identifying where users get stuck or drop off, and defining the product experiences that increase activation, conversion, retention, and meaningful usage.
The ideal candidate has strong product judgment, customer empathy, analytical depth, and experience building SaaS or PaaS experiences that simplify complex platforms for enterprise users. They should be comfortable moving between customer conversations, product telemetry, business metrics, UX strategy, and engineering execution.
Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Execution
Define and drive the end-to-end Eventhouse experience within Fabric, from disocvyer and onboarding through activation, product usage, optimization and long-term retention.
Write specs, define scenarios, partner with engineering on feature execution, and ensure high-quality, reliable releases.
Take high-level or ambiguous concepts and drive them end-to-end: from idea, to concrete plans, to execution, to measurable customer impact.
Independently lead cross-team initiatives, creating clarity across engineering, design, partner teams, and other Fabric workloads.
Continuously assess customer feedback, product telemetry, and business goals to make data-driven decisions and iterate quickly.
Define the product experiences, user journeys, and platform capabilities needed to improve adoption and usage depth.
Partner closely with UX designers to shape clear, intuitive, and outcome-driven experiences, while owning the product strategy, requirements, prioritization, and success metrics.
Data Driven Product Management
Use product telemetry, customer feedback, funnel analysis, business metrics, and qualitative research to identify opportunities and prioritize investments.
Define clear success metrics for product experiences and growth initiatives, including activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and consumption impact.
Translate ambiguous usage patterns and customer signals into clear product hypotheses, requirements, experiments, and roadmap decisions.
Continuously evaluate whether shipped experiences are driving measurable customer and business impact, and iterate based on evidence.
Product Execution
Write clear product specs, define scenarios and user journeys, and partner with engineering to deliver high-quality experiences.
Take high-level or ambiguous opportunities and drive them end-to-end: from insight, to product strategy, to concrete plans, to execution, to measurable customer impact.
Lead cross-team initiatives independently, creating clarity across engineering, design, partner teams, field, marketing, and other Fabric workloads.
Balance short-term growth opportunities with long-term platform experience improvements.
Customer & Field Engagement
Work directly with customers, design partners, field teams, support, and customer success teams to understand adoption blockers and validate product direction.
Translate complex customer scenarios into simple, actionable product requirements and product-led growth opportunities.
Build a strong understanding of enterprise customer needs, including onboarding, governance, scale, reliability, cost transparency, and operational workflows.
Cross-Org Collaboration
Lead alignment with other Fabric workloads (Dashboards, Lakehouse, OneLake, Copilot, Real Time Hub, etc.) to deliver unified, seamless experiences.
Represent Eventhouse in cross-team architecture, AI integration, and platform initiatives.
