This role sits at the intersection of law, operations, and real human impact within Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA). Our team powers the operations behind Employment and Immigration Law (E+I Law), partnering with attorneys, paralegals, and immigration specialists across U.S. Immigration, U.S. Employment Law, Global Employment, and Employment Policy and Compliance to support Microsoft's global workforce. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence, solve meaningful problems, and help shape the strategic initiatives that support thousands of employees and their families around the world.
Responsibilities
Support and help improve high-volume operations across E+I Law domains including immigration filings, employment law processes, and cross-functional business workflows
Support the development and execution of project plans including milestones, timelines, metrics, and resources
Construct workflow charts, diagrams, and user guides that capture the unique requirements of a legal practice
Use scorecards and dashboards to track program performance and communicate status to stakeholders
Assist with budget management including reporting, monthly reconciliation, and vendor billing
Collaborate with attorneys, immigration specialists, HR partners, and vendor teams to ensure seamless operations
Manage multiple priorities across a range of business needs driven by internal and external constraints
Communicate clearly in writing, presentations, and one-to-one settings

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement in a legal, regulatory compliance, or professional services environment OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Effective written and verbal communication skills and deep attention to detail
Organizational, time management, and troubleshooting skills
Aptitude to learn Microsoft business intelligence tools including Excel, Power BI, Project, and Visio
Aptitude to leverage AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve operational workflows and team productivity
Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $77,800 - $153,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $102,200 - $169,900 per year.
