WorkWhile
About WorkWhile
WorkWhile is on a mission to help workers earn a better living and live better lives. More than 80 million Americans work hourly jobs, often with unpredictable schedules that pay close to minimum wage and offer limited benefits, leading to financial instability.
WorkWhile is revolutionizing frontline work by creating a more flexible and efficient labor market. Powered by AI, the WorkWhile platform helps businesses quickly access high-quality talent. Workers benefit from same-day pay, free telehealth services, upskilling, and the ability to choose shifts that match their skills and schedules.
We have the audacious goal to align incentives and solve inefficiencies in the labor market, disrupting the $650 billion staffing and recruiting market. Backed by Khosla Ventures and recognized by the Inc. 5000 for 10x growth, WorkWhile is reshaping the future of work.
About the role
We’re looking for a B2B Marketer to help power our next stage of growth. In this hands-on role, you’ll help build and scale our marketing engine from the ground up, especially around events, content, and demand gen to reach and engage leaders across logistics, warehousing, and hospitality.
You’ll thrive here if you love working in a fast-paced startup environment, aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, and can turn scrappy ideas into reality. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing (B2B) and collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, EPD, and Data Science to bring our brand and value proposition to life.
This is an exciting opportunity to join WorkWhile at an inflection point and make a tangible impact on how we grow, tell our story, and help the people who power the backbone of the economy.
What you’ll do
-
Content
Develop positioning and messaging that clearly articulates our unique value, differentiates our solutions in a competitive market, and resonates deeply with our target ICP
Craft engaging content, including emails, social posts, one-pagers, and sales collateral
Maintain and update our content library (e.g. case studies, pitch decks) to ensure consistency and relevance
Lighty design and edit in Canva or Figma to make content visually on-brand
-
Events
Support planning and execution of events and industry conferences
Coordinate logistics, branding, lead outreach, and post-event nurture campaigns
Track performance and ROI of events in HubSpot & SFDC
-
Demand Gen
Partner with Sales and SDRs to build and refine targeted ABM sequences
Support outbound efforts to engage prospects and drive qualified pipeline
Leverage prospect, customer, and market insights to inform outreach strategies and pipeline management
-
Marketing Operations
Assist in management of our HubSpot marketing automation system
Build lifecycle campaigns, landing pages, and nurture workflows
Help maintain clean data for lead uploads and list segmentation
Monitor and report on campaign performance and identify areas of improvement
What we’re looking for
1-2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, content, or events; a plus if in startup or fast-paced environments
A go-getter mentality: highly organized, eager to learn, and willing to jump in wherever needed
Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and in a way that reflects our brand voice
Curious and resourceful: you figure things out, ask smart questions, leverage AI tools, and don’t wait to be told what to do
A bias toward action: you value progress over perfection and aren’t afraid to test, learn, and iterate quickly
Comfortable using (or quickly learning) tools like HubSpot, Canva, and Figma
Benefits & Perks
Remote work culture with opportunities for coworking in SF
In-person company offsites
Medical, dental, & vision coverage
Flexible time off
