We’re looking for an IMS Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform. In this role, you’ll oversee the technical administration of D365 CE and play a key role in architecting and implementing scalable business solutions across the organization.

Here is what success will look like:

  • Design, build, and implement business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform alongside D365 CE and F&O to enhance operational efficiency and drive profitability across WideOrbit.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business and technical needs, and develop tailored solutions aligned with their goals.

  • Lead solution architecture efforts in partnership with onshore and offshore admin and development teams.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of D365 CE and Power Platform projects, including analysis, design, development, testing, training, and deployment.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between D365 and third-party or enterprise systems.

  • Administer and customize the D365 CE platform to support evolving business requirements.

  • Continuously optimize D365 CE for performance, security, access, and usability.

  • Provide ongoing support and direction for Dynamics 365 CE, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and business objectives.

  • Design and configure system customizations and reporting structures to reflect business processes.

  • Maintain regular communication with users regarding project updates and issue resolution.

  • Support code repository management, backlog tracking, and source control using tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS).

  • Develop and maintain D365 CE plugins and web resources.

  • Leverage tools such as XRMToolbox and SDKs for effective platform administration and customization.

  • Champion user adoption by providing training, support, and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

  • Apply strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes.

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology field or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience providing end-to-end full life cycle implementations and support of D365 CE and the Power Platform solutions.

  • Advanced understanding of administration and configuration of model-driven app components and Dynamics 365 configuration and customization.

  • Advanced solutioning and implementation skills in D365 CE and Microsoft Power Platform with specific or advanced knowledge of: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, Power BI.

  • Advanced understanding of D365 CE security features and implementation.

  • Proven Experience with the following;

  • Deploying and configuring Power Apps Pages

  • Building and maintaining copilot agents

  • Developing Custom Connectors for Power Automate

  • Using Canvas Apps used within D365 CE and as stand-alone app

  • Customizations, JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, SQL Server, SSRS including plugins, scripting, and form creation.

  • How to embed Power BI dashboards in Dynamics 365. Experience with XRMToolbox, MSCRMAddins, and other third-party related solutions preferred.

  • D365 CE API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints.

  • Familiarity and understanding of Power Platform licensing structure, plans and the costs associated.

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, , source control, and D365 CE SDK and Azure DevOps.

  • Ability to work successfully in both team environment and as an individual contributor.

  • Excellent client facing skills e.g., verbal, client demonstrations, deliver training within an organization. Experience developing training materials as well as user training a plus.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills and accountability.

  • D365 CE and MS Power Platform certifications a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Location: This position can be based in any of our offices. Remote/Telecommute will also be considered.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $145,000 + Variable Bonus

Various factors are considered to determine compensation ranges including market data, location, experience, qualifications, and skills. WideOrbit reserves the right to pay more or less than the salary and benefit information posted.
