We are currently looking for a management intern to join our Strategy and Business Operations team. Reporting to the Sr. Strategy and Business Operations Manager, you will support the team in various ad-hoc projects and regular reporting. You will play a key role in analyzing and sharing insights from the data to support business decisions. The team works closely with all the departments in the company and has a holistic view of how they function. If you are someone who likes numbers and can multitask between multiple projects, this role is for you.
What you will be doing:
- Leverage data analysis skills to drive insights and support strategic recommendations.
- Conduct deep-dives of different business areas such as user funnel, monetization, or content engagement to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist the team in running subscription promotion events by supporting during the planning and execution phase.
- Work with the team members and other stakeholders to prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews.
- Build, maintain and iterate on dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor progress against targets.
- Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic decision-making.
What we’re looking for:
- Enrolled or recently completed a post-secondary Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Basic knowledge of G Suite (Google Sheets, Slides). Knowledge of SQL, Looker, Google Analytics is a big plus, but not a must.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Data-driven problem-solving skills and ability to break down large problems into smaller solvable chunks.
- Strong quantitative skills combined with great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A team player who is willing to learn and grow with the team.
Wattpad is conducting all interviews in a distributed manner using applicable third party software where needed and using visual interface tools such as Google Meet and Zoom.
