You will...
- Lead talent acquisition coordination efforts by owning scheduling of interviews.
- Support recruiters by providing each candidate with a great interview experience (virtually and on-site).
- Partner with the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and interviewers on recruitment initiatives.
- Assist with the planning and lead program management of our internship program.
- Help to execute our university recruiting strategy in both Canada and the US.
- Participate in team projects and talent/system process improvements.
- Support broader recruiting efforts including helping coordinate and attend recruiting events as needed, light reporting, and sourcing.
- Create and manage internal and external resources and documentation to ensure up to date materials for the talent acquisition team
- Collaborate with the people team to improve and streamline existing programs and recruiting processes.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring new hire pre-onboarding information is up to date and scheduling orientation sessions.
- Help with special projects when needed.
- Be based in our Toronto office and willing to come into the office on a hybrid model.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications or similar fields.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Recruitment Coordination or HR Admin capacity.
- Has an “all hands on deck” “can do” attitude.
- Experience using HR standard software systems such as a HRIS, ATS and Google Suite.
- Experience partnering with a wide variety of clients and senior level business leaders.
- Project management experience and proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment, self motivated and self-directed.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
Bonus/nice to have:
- Start-up experience is a huge plus!
- Experience in university intern/co-op recruiting.
- Coordination in cross-functional teams across different time zones.
