As an SDE III – Integrations, you will be a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade integration solutions. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Integration Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure integrations across a diverse landscape of enterprise applications and platforms. You will bring deep hands-on expertise in integration technologies and serve as a technical mentor and go-to resource for your team.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex integration solutions across enterprise systems using platforms such as Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar iPaaS tools.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and reusable integration designs following best practices and established patterns.
  • Build and manage REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven flows, batch integrations, and real-time data pipelines across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
  • Develop and maintain integration components including connectors, mappings, transformations, orchestrations, and error-handling frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment of integration implementations with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) roadmap and platform standards.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to validate technical designs and ensure they meet scalability, performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Own and drive proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts to evaluate new integration approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of integration standards, patterns, coding guidelines, and reusable frameworks.
  • Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) discussions as needed to present integration designs and any known exceptions.
  • Collaborate with vendor support teams to report, track, and resolve platform issues.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Integration & Technical Skills:

  • Deep hands-on experience with one or more iPaaS/Integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience building REST and SOAP web services, including API design, versioning, security (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys), and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in event-driven integration patterns using message brokers such as Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ, or similar.
  • Experienced with data transformation and mapping across diverse data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, EDI, and flat files.
  • Strong experience with B2B/EDI integrations, batch processing, and real-time data synchronization patterns.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM, SCM, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerized deployment models (Docker, Kubernetes).

Architecture & Design:

  • Experienced with modern integration patterns and techniques such as API-led connectivity, Pub/Sub, Event Streaming etc.
  • Advanced skills in programming paradigms such as Object-Oriented, Functional, or Event-Driven development.
  • Database and data modeling experience with a strong understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts.
  • Experience designing solutions across multiple cloud service providers (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).

Process & Collaboration:

  • Solid experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with organizational policies and standards.
  • Experience working with multiple, large enterprise platforms in a diverse technology environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in and contributing to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong mentoring and knowledge-sharing abilities.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging integration technologies, platforms, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of overall experience in a technical software engineering role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integrations development.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Dell Boomi and/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with API Management platforms (e.g., Boomi API Management, Oracle API Gateway, Apigee) is a strong plus.
  • Dell Boomi Developer/Professional Certification preferred.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist Certification preferred.
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery framework and using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Experience in supporting or implementing large-scale enterprise integration programs across multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
