職務内容

ソリューションエンジニア (以下SE) は、お客様及びパートナー企業様に向けた営業および技術的な役割を果たします。SEの主な職務内容は、営業とともに、F5のソリューションに関する技術的知識をお客様及びパートナー企業様へ提供する事です。SE はF5製品とエコシステムの両方に優れた技術的スキルと知識、顧客との信頼関係構築スキルを持っている必要があり、F5ではSEに対する継続的なトレーニングや資格取得をサポートしています。

また、SEはお客様のビジネスニーズに沿ったF5のソリューションと製品を提案、販売し、売り上げ目標を達成します。お客様の観点から、SEは、技術的およびビジネス上の課題を積極的に学び、理解し、解決する為の効果的なソリューションを提案する信頼できるアドバイザーです。F5 のSEは技術的な機能だけでなく、技術的な価値の提案とビジネス上のメリットを提示します。

  • お客様のビジネスニーズに沿ってF5製品戦略や価値提案を行う

  • お客様、パートナー企業様との信頼関係を築き、案件創出を行う

  • 案件管理と売り上げ予測を通じて、四半期毎の営業目標を達成または超過する

  • 対面・非対面等様々なセールスプレゼンテーション、ソリューションデザイン、デモンストレーションを通じて技術的な専門知識を提供する

  • 意思決定者を特定し、技術的な検証やサポートを得て、営業プロセスを推進する

  • 社内の各部門と協力し、専門知識を活用し、様々な案件のニーズに対応する

望ましい経験

  • 仮想化技術(VNF/CNF)の実務経験

  • クラウドアーキテクチャのソリューション提案経験 (AWS, GCP, Azure等)

  • コンテナー オーケストレーション ソリューション (例: OpenShift、Kubernetes) の経験

  • 提案ソリューションのパフォーマンス測定とサイジングの経験

  • Web Application設計・開発経験 (Python, JavaScriptなど)

  • 競合製品の基礎的な知識

  • 関連する認定資格(CKA等)

募集要件

  • 学士または同等の資格

  • 8年以上のIT業界における経験

  • テレコム/サービスプロバイダ向けの提案、設計、構築経験 (日本語及び英語)

  • 高いコミュニケーション力、プレゼンテーション、アカウントマネジメントのスキル

Role Overview:

The Solution Engineer (SE) plays a sales and technical role for customers and partners. SEs must have excellent technical skills and knowledge of both F5 products and the ecosystem, as well as customer relationship-building skills. SEs are also responsible for proposing and selling F5 solutions and products that meet the customer's business needs and achieve sales targets. From the customer's perspective, SEs are trusted advisors who proactively learn, understand, and propose effective solutions to technical and business challenges.

What you will do:

  • Provide F5 product strategy and value propositions in line with customers' business needs

  • Build relationships of trust and deal generation with customers and partners

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals through deal management and sales forecasting

  • Provide technical expertise through a variety of face-to-face and in-person sales presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations

  • Identify decision makers and drive the sales process with technical validation and support

  • Collaborate with internal departments to leverage expertise and address various deal needs

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • At least 8 years of pre-sales experience in the IT industry

  • Experience in proposal, design and build for telecom customer (Japanese and English)

  • Strong communication, presentation and account management skills

  • Working experience with virtualization/containerization technologies (VNF/CNF)

  • Experience proposing solutions with cloud architectures (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Experience with container orchestration solutions (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes)

  • Experience with performance measurement and sizing of proposed solutions

  • Experience in Web Application design and development (e.g. Python, JavaScript)

  • Basic knowledge of competitive products

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CKA)
