Design and deploy AI-assisted decision engines within automation workflows, replacing hard-coded rules with model-driven, probabilistic decision-making
Develop computer vision-based automation for image recognition, screen scraping of legacy/non-API-accessible applications, and visual validation tasks
RPA Platform Development & Architecture
Lead end-to-end automation lifecycle from process discovery, AI feasibility assessment, and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and hypercare
Architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable RPA solutions using UiPath Studio, REFramework, Orchestrator, Action Center, and custom activity libraries
Design and implement integrations between UiPath automations and enterprise platforms including Oracle EBS/Fusion, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and legacy systems
Build and govern a Reusable AI Component Library — pre-built, tested AI + RPA building blocks that accelerate delivery across the automation program
Manage UiPath Orchestrator environments across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production including tenant configuration, queue management, robot provisioning, and licensing optimization
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for RPA + AI artifact deployment using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tooling with full Git-based version control
AI/ML Model Lifecycle & MLOps
Collaborate with data science teams to productionize AI/ML models into UiPath-consumable skills and decision services
Define and implement MLOps practices for model versioning, monitoring, retraining triggers, and drift detection within the automation ecosystem
Evaluate and benchmark AI model performance, establish confidence score thresholds, and design human review escalation workflows for low-confidence predictions
Integrate external AI services (Azure Cognitive Services, AWS Rekognition, Google Vision AI, Hugging Face models) into RPA workflows via API connectors
Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that empower automation bots to query enterprise knowledge bases, policy documents, and FAQs dynamically
Technical Leadership & Governance
Establish and enforce Intelligent Automation development standards covering both RPA coding guidelines and AI model integration patterns, security, and responsible AI principles
Conduct architecture review boards and technical design sessions for complex AI + RPA use cases
Mentor and upskill junior/mid-level RPA developers on AI integration techniques, prompt engineering, model consumption, and data literacy
Drive adoption of emerging UiPath platform capabilities (Autopilot, GenAI Activities, LLM connectors, Agentic Automation) and evaluate new AI tools for inclusion in the automation stack
Lead the RPA + AI CoE (Center of Excellence) governance model including pipeline prioritization, demand management, standards enforcement, and ROI tracking
Process Discovery, Stakeholder Collaboration & Innovation
Lead AI-augmented process discovery workshops using UiPath Process Mining, Task Mining, and SME interviews to identify, score, and prioritize automation opportunities
Develop business cases for Intelligent Automation initiatives quantifying FTE savings, cycle time reduction, error rate improvement, and AI-driven decision accuracy gains
Collaborate with enterprise architects, data engineers, security, and compliance teams to ensure AI + RPA solutions adhere to data privacy (GDPR, HIPAA), model governance, and ethical AI standards
Translate complex AI + automation concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders and senior executives
Continuously evaluate the automation landscape for opportunities to evolve from attended/unattended RPA → Intelligent Automation → Agentic AI models
Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement
Design comprehensive testing strategies for AI + RPA solutions covering unit, integration, regression, AI model accuracy validation, and UAT support using UiPath Test Suite
Define and monitor performance KPIs for intelligent automation including bot utilization, AI model accuracy, exception rate, straight-through processing (STP) rate, and realized ROI
Perform root cause analysis on automation and AI model failures; implement self-healing mechanisms, fallback logic, and human escalation pathways
Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the Intelligent Automation program
