As part of our continued growth in EMEA, we are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Danish-speaking Business Development Representative (BDR) intern to join our vibrant and fast-paced team in our office in Cork City Centre, Ireland.

What You’ll Do in This Role?

As a Business Development Representative (Danish Speaking) intern, you will aim to build the key skills needed to establish yourself as a critical part in driving F5’s future business growth across the EMEA region. You will achieve this by gaining direct exposure to both Inbound and Outbound Business Development sales motions while also closely working with the EMEA sales and marketing teams to help you understand and execute against our strategic goals. You’ll work on dedicated projects that directly support the sales team while learning key aspects of the F5 sales process and making meaningful contributions to driving revenue and expanding our sales pipeline.

Your Typical Day May Involve:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to learn how to identify and engage with high-potential prospects, helping to form strong leads across the Danish-speaking market.
  • Customer Engagement & Outreach: Build core skills and confidence in delivering tailored outreach materials, learning to articulate the F5 value propositions, and contributing to meaningful conversations with prospective customers.
  • Sales Technology Mastery: Learn how to leverage state-of-the-art prospecting tools (such as Outreach, LinkedIn and Salesforce) and how to help generate unique sales insights by ensuring data accuracy.
  • Sales Technique Development: Shadow and partner with experienced BDRs and F5 Account Managers to master communication strategies, prospecting approaches, and creative problem-solving for both inbound and outbound outreach.
  • Hands-On Coaching: Be giving the opportunity to put in practice what you have learned by working on inbound leads and key outbound accounts to refine your skills that enable continuous coaching and learning.
  • Bespoke Projects and Workshops: Participate in projects, workshops, training sessions, and research initiatives built uniquely for you to help keep you informed on key F5 sales initiatives, cybersecurity trends and innovations in digital sales.
  • Team Contribution & Innovations: Collaborate with team members and internal EMEA departments to help build and optimize future sales development process, contribute feedback, and introduce innovative strategies identified throughout your shadowing and learning.

What We’re Looking For?

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual eager to embrace the fast-paced and rewarding world of tech sales. If you meet the following, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Fluent in Danish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong English proficiency is advantageous for working across EMEA.
  • In the final year of study or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree (within 12 months prior to start date)
  • Desire to build a long-term career in tech sales, business development, and cybersecurity.
  • Keen to use and further grow your communication skills and combine these with a commercial and relationship building role.
  • Motivated and team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to personal growth.
  • Adaptable and resilient in high-energy, fast-paced environments.

Application Details:

This is a paid, full-time position based out of our office in Cork City, Ireland, with a 12-month duration starting in October 2026. The role will report into our Senior Manager for EMEA Business Development and will offer hybrid working flexibility and the opportunity to learn directly under the guidance of EMEA senior sales leadership.
