We are seeking a passionate, data and process-driven marketer to assist with our marketing operations initiatives. You will assist the team in managing and optimizing the operations, success, and expansion of our marketing technology and processes, while growing and scaling our efforts and advocating for innovation.
As a part of the marketing operations team, you will be focused on utilizing your analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate multiple solutions to develop and adapt marketing business processes, including process improvement coupled with business requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
Owning the management and details of the projects that the Marketing Operations team works on, both globally to support the global Marketing Operations regional teams as well as cross-functionally across Marketing. The marketing operations specialist will have the ability to translate the complex business requirements received from stakeholders and translate these into actions, outlining end to end project requirements.
Qualifications
Technically proficient, highly organized, results-driven, and has a keen eye for detail
Goal-oriented with the ability to set and achieve challenging Marketo optimization objectives
Proactive team player capable of meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment
Demonstrates business maturity and adaptability, working well with diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and with a team
Quick learner, able to pick up on complex software training in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Solid time management skills
Self-starter, taking ownership of projects and suggesting ways to help the marketing operations team
Marketing Project Management
Support the team with daily workflow, projects, and priorities
Facilitate planning and organization of key team initiatives, team meetings and events
Assemble large meeting agendas, invites, and recap/distribute meeting notes/outcomes
Assist in the publishing of regular marketing status and performance reports
Gather and distribute information from various teams for smooth cross functional operations
Manage and traffic marketing campaign calendars in coordination with all team members
Marketing Technology
As the marketing operations specialist, you will help coordinate the daily management of projects, tools, and platforms used by the marketing department worldwide
Be a data steward for lead entry
Utilizing templatized Marketo program builds to support content syndication, webinars, events, BrightTALK, paid and organic social
Provides solutions to a variety of marketing problems of basic scope and complexity
Assist with Marketing Operations tasks such as data governance tasks, Marketing Automation Platform work, Smartsheet and other Program Management tool auditing, etc.
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
0-2 Years Marketing or Administrative Experience
Knowledge and Skills
You love getting your hands in all MarTech tools, while also finding operational efficiencies. You find joy in diving into and optimizing end-to-end processes, while also working collaboratively across teams.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with large datasets
Familiar with Project Management styles (Waterfall vs. Agile)
Strong project management, cross-team stakeholder management, and analytic thought process and ability to interpret data
General understanding of database management and data governance
Experience working on projects across various teams, tracking completion and success
Experience doing marketing operations road mapping and auditing
Experience with vendor relationship management
Experience in Marketo a plus
