About the role
We are looking for an FPGA Engineering Intern to join our FPGA group in Tel Aviv. This internship is designed for students in their 3rd or 4th year who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in FPGA development, verification, bring-up, and debugging.
Your Typical Day May Involve:
  • Develop and analyze coverage results to improve verification methodologies using SystemVerilog UVM; may also require Python or other scripting languages.
  • Support with card bring-up by developing test scenarios and defining pass/fail criteria on new F5 systems using Python.
  • Debug F5 boards, requiring scripting knowledge primarily in Python.
  • Support with the adaptation of AI tools into the FPGA group’s working methodologies.
What You Will Learn:
During the internship, you will learn and contribute to one or more FPGA domains, including:
  • SystemVerilog for RTL (front-end) development.
  • SystemVerilog UVM for verification.
  • FPGA back-end tools such as Vivado and Quartus.
Who You Are:
  • 3rd or 4th-year student working toward an academic degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital design concepts through coursework or projects is an advantage.
  • Basic programming or scripting experience (Python preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in FPGA, logic design, and/or hardware is an advantage.

The duration of the internship is 1,040 hours. The candidate must be available to start immediately and should be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 100 hours per month.
