F5, Inc. seeks Engineer II in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Build automated data plane test cases and API test cases using PyTest framework for modular BIG-IP’s feature called SSLO (SSL Orchestrator). Work on AWS instances, dockers and containers. Build automated control plane (UI) and data plane test cases using ROBOT framework to validate customer workflow in core BIG-IP’s feature SSLO. Work on open-source libraries like Selenium and also Python based proprietary libraries. Run and validate automated test cases on Jenkin’s production environment. Work and collaborate with cross platform teams in the Agile methodology. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from F5 office in San Jose, CA.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering (any field), or related quantitative discipline, and one(1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Docker; (2) Linux or Unix; (3) AWS; (4) Postman and Wireshark; (5) Python; (6) TCP/IP; (7) IP Network (router and switch); (8) ROBOT Automation Framework; (9) CI/CD; (10) Gitlab/Github; (11) RESTful API; and (12) TLS. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from F5 office in San Jose, CA.
Salary: $187,741 - $224,400 per annum
