Role Summary
The Senior Technical Program Manager – Infrastructure owns the end-to-end lifecycle of global Points of Presence (PoPs), public cloud substrates for a mission-critical SaaS platform. This role is accountable for planning, execution, operational readiness, and decommissioning of PoPs, public cloud substrates across regions, while ensuring availability, security, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
You will serve as the single-threaded owner for cross-functional infrastructure programs spanning network engineering, SRE, cloud platform, security, compliance, finance, procurement, and operations. The role requires deep technical fluency, strong execution rigor, and the ability to operate in high availability (99.99%+), regulated SaaS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional, complex infrastructure programs across global data centers, network backbone, and edge locations.
- Own end-to-end delivery of data center, PoP, public cloud substrates infrastructure programs, including capacity planning, network readiness, and production rollout.
- Drive program execution across build, operate, and lifecycle optimization phases.
- Coordinate engineering, operations, procurement, real estate, security, and compliance teams.
- Manage interdependencies across hardware, network, software, and site operations.
- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to availability, security, compliance, and cost.
- Provide executive-level reporting on program health, milestones, and dependencies
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Infrastructure Program Management, or Engineering Operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure programs (data centers, PoPs, edge, network-heavy platforms).
- Strong technical understanding of:
- Networking (BGP, peering, load balancing)
- Compute, storage, and platform infrastructure
- High-availability and disaster recovery architectures
- Experience operating in high-availability SaaS environments (99.99%+).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multi-region programs with high ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global PoP expansion and decommissioning at scale.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks impacting infrastructure.
- Background working closely with SRE, Network Engineering, and Security teams.
- Strong financial acumen related to infrastructure cost modeling.
- Experience in cloud + colo hybrid environments.

The annual base pay for this position is: $157,600.00 - $236,400.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
