Role Overview
As a QA Manual Testing Apprentice, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the reliability, functionality, and usability of F5 products. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about software quality and eager to learn testing methodologies in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for networking applications.
- Validate functionality against requirements and report defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
- Document test results and maintain clear records of issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot defects.
- Learn and adhere to F5’s QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing principles.
- Familiarity with web technologies and mobile platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools for documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of basic SQL for data validation.
- Understanding of Agile methodology.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
