F5 is seeking a visionary Sr. Manager, Platform Services to join our Digital Employee Experience (EX) organization. In this role, you will lead the platform services engineer team responsible for our core employee-facing platforms and services. This leadership role is central to our mission of delivering a world-class digital workplace. You will oversee the teams managing our ServiceNow instance, driving integration services, ensuring quality engineering, and accelerating our use of AI and automation. Your leadership will be instrumental in transforming our employee experience from a support function to a strategic driver of engagement and organizational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and architects responsible for the Digital, GRC, and Functional PODs. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
- Strategic Platform Ownership: Define and execute the strategic vision for the Digital EX platform services, including ServiceNow, integration services, and automation. Ensure alignment with the overall EX pillar strategy and business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Delivery Leaders for People, Finance & Legal business systems to understand and meet the functional G&A business needs.
- Resource Planning & Execution: Manage resourcing for your teams, including identifying skill gaps and planning for future needs through both full-time hires and consulting partners. Drive the execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Operational Excellence: Drive the operational excellence of our platforms, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and secure. Implement best practices for software development, QA, and platform management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related initiatives, communicating progress, risks, and strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in Enterprise Application and Integration architecture.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams responsible for development, QA, and Systems admins
- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and experience implementing them.
- Experience managing platforms like ServiceNow.
- Experience with enterprise integration strategies and technologies like Boomi, OIC, Workato, etc.
- Experience in Automation and AI implementations for Business Systems & Productivity applications
- Experience with establishing quality engineering across functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into a clear technical strategy.

The annual base pay for this position is: $199,200.00 - $298,800.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
