Role Overview:

The AI Specialist at F5 is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and managing large system integrator (SI) and AI ecosystem relationships across Korea. This role supports F5’s AI and application-led strategies by executing partner business plans, negotiating deals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize partnership success.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead AI Partnership Development: Manage and grow high-impact partnerships for F5’s AI products, from negotiation to product launch, ensuring alignment with F5’s partner business GTM strategy
  • Execute Revenue and Growth Strategies: Implement partner revenue growth activities, monitor bookings, market share, and competitive positioning, and conduct quarterly business reviews with partners and internal leadership
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, legal, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deals, integrate technologies, and drive partner enablement through training and certification
  • Manage Key Relationships: Maintain strategic relationships with large SIs like Naver, Kakao, NHN and OEMs such as NVIDIA and Dell, while aligning with F5’s internal leadership and partner technical teams to support business objectives
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI industry
  • Gather competitive intelligence and drive counter measures through teaming with corporate and Korea marketing & sales leadership.
  • Design, secure approval and execute specific counter competitive programs and pricing actions as needed
  • Work strategically to identify new industry specific ‘use cases and solutions’ with Large SIs

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA degree are a strong plus, or equivalent levels of experience
  • 8+ years of strong background in sales gained within the Cloud/SaaS/Security/AI space, managing multi-million-dollar deals
  • Direct experience of partnering with Large SI’s like Naver, Kakao, NHN and OEMs such as NVIDIA and Dell will be an important advantage
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding targets whilst managing a small number of large accounts or alliance partners, ideally with a next generation software/SAAS company
  • Experience and relationships with major SI’s, ISV’s, Managed Service Providers, Value Added Resellers and experience with leading software, Cloud & SaaS organizations required
  • Base level knowledge of the AI ecosystem including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions
