F5 is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Event Manager to join our Global Events team, supporting our EMEA theatre. This role will be instrumental in the planning and execution of our AppWorld Roadshows across EMEA and will support or AppWorld flagship customer event in. Las Vegas.

The ideal candidate is an experienced events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing complex logistics across time zones, and can act as the connective tissue between global strategy and regional execution. This role will partner closely with local field and channel teams to ensure regional relevance and impact, while maintaining alignment with the broader global programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA events portfolio, including technology and cloud-alliance programmes.

  • Lead AppWorld Roadshow execution across EMEA, including venue sourcing, budget management, vendor coordination, and timeline development.

  • Serve as the liaison between the global AppWorld Flagship programme and AppWorld Roadshows, ensuring timely communication and alignment of messaging, content, and deliverables.

  • Collaborate closely with EMEA field and channel marketing teams to tailor experiences for local audiences while maintaining global consistency.

  • Own and manage event timelines and project plans, track milestones and coordinate inputs from global and local stakeholders.

  • Manage venue sourcing and contracting for EMEA AppWorld Roadshows and selected third-party events.

  • Develop and maintain detailed run-of-shows, staffing plans, and logistics documentation.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for EMEA-based vendors, including AV, production, creative, and promotional suppliers.

  • Responsible for building programme in Cvent including, event registration, communications, mobile app and agenda.

  • Champion datadriven decisionmaking through collaboration with Marketing Ops to integrate event platforms and deliver actionable reporting on attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact

  • Monitor and track budgets, invoices, and POs to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

  • Support lead capture, audience engagement, and post-event reporting in partnership with sales and marketing operations.

  • Represent the Global Events team in EMEA meetings and planning forums; escalate risks and share best practices with the wider team.

  • Drive analysis and market research to benchmark current event performance and shape future global event strategy in partnership with EMEA stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in delivering high-impact B2B events across EMEA, preferably in the technology sector.

  • Hands-on experience with venue sourcing and contracting in Europe and META.

  • Cvent proficiency is required

  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, global environment with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and executive leadership.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Collaborative team player who can work independently while also contributing to a broader team mission.

  • Clear and confident communicator, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Flexible, proactive, and calm under pressure, with a solutions-first mindset.

  • Familiarity with enterprise technology topics including cloud, security, networking, and AI is a plus.
