Role Overview
The Business Development team at F5 is responsible for new business and revenue generation, supporting customers in finding products, solutions, and services that best meet their needs, and setting the direction and policies for sales activities and managing the execution of these plans.
The Digital Sales job family at F5 is responsible for qualifying sales leads via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts. Generates prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Partners with digital sales account managers to hand off qualified leads. Leads can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities. Focuses on acquiring new customers. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.
Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-development activities.
What You'll Do
Strategically Execute Outbound Prospecting Activities. Use cold calling, personalized emails, and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn to generate quality leads and secure meetings with decision-makers
Effectively Qualify Inbound Leads. Engage inbound leads to understand their needs, challenges, and decision-making processes, ensuring an informed handoff to the sales team.
Develop and Execute Tailored Account-Specific Plans. Collaborate with sales reps to create targeted account plans for Singapore and the Philippines, aligning prospecting with key business opportunities.
Analyze Data to Drive Continuous Improvement. Analyze prospecting metrics and sales data to spot trends, improve strategies, and enhance lead generation efforts
Build Key Connections. Identify and introduce new stakeholders within target accounts to Account Managers to strengthen relationships and expand opportunities.
Utilize Prospecting Tools. Maximize tools like Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, along with effective outbound techniques, to schedule high-impact meetings.
Collaborate Across Teams. Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to support new programs, campaigns, and offerings tailored to the Singapore and Philippines markets.

What You'll Bring
1–2 years of experience in sales prospecting or business development
Excellent communication skills in business English
Experience with Salesforce CRM and sales tools like Outreach or Sales Navigator
Ability to manage outreach campaigns and book discovery meetings
Tech industry background (SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
