Position Summary

F5 Networks A Market leader in Application Delivery Controllers and Security platforms is hiring for its Centre of Excellence office in Hyderabad, India. Join our team of super smart engineers working in a fun, fast-paced, and highly technical environment where your dreams can become reality.

As a member of Release Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the integrity of product releases and publishing build artifacts for various platforms.

Primary Responsibilities and Skills

  • Public Clouds: Manage services and resources across major public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba.
  • OS and Hypervisors: Configure Hypervisors like ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, XenServer with good understanding of Linux networking and OS internals.
  • Design and Implementation: Create, maintain, and optimize scalable DevOps pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab Runner, and other similar platforms.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Utilize basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, Ansible, etc.) for automating tasks and enhancing workflows.
  • Version Control: Manage and optimize version control tools like Perforce and GitLab to ensure smooth repository management and collaboration.
  • Release Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to run release checklists and ensure streamlined deployment processes.
  • SKU Development and Implementation Management (SDIM): Ability to work effectively with Product Management and other teams to deliver SKU licenses
  • Artifact Publishing: Ensure precision and attention to detail while publishing build artifacts on public cloud marketplaces and MyF5 Downloads platforms, maintaining the integrity and accessibility of releases.
  • Continuous Learning : Quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes to stay ahead in a fast-paced and evolving technical landscape. Display excellent analytical and problem solving skills while being a good team player.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor of Engineering in ECE/Computers or 4 years of experience with ME/MTech in ECE/Computers.
  • Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours for better collaboration with International teams.
