We are looking for seasoned SRE engineers to join our team! You will participate in the design and implementation of our edge computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Your work includes, but not limited to, API definition, implementation, deployment, operational management, and debugging.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts and promptly remediate any issues that arise in production environment

  • Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help build, deploy and handle the service components of the platform

  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks to enhance the platform’s capabilities—focusing on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and developer productivity.

  • Demonstrate technical leadership in multiple domain areas, providing mentorship to other team members as well as partnering with development teams to improve services on an on going basis.

  • Hands-on coding in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, flexibility as well as develop tooling, processes to make sure F5 Cloud highly available, scalable and highly performant

  • Remediate security vulnerabilities in our services and platform on a regular basis, and participate in on-call rotation.

  • Architect and maintain F5’s foundational cloud platform services (for example, infrastructure abstraction, provisioning, and deployment tooling) to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability across the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—SREs, application engineers, and QA—to define platform requirements, set best practices, and drive adoption of platform tools that improve the developer experience.

  • Create self-service interfaces and documentation for developers, enabling them to deploy, monitor, and manage applications more easily and securely on the platform.

What You’ll Bring:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in SRE Development/Operations domain

  • Experience with building and designing distributed network control plane

  • Attention to detail, can do attitude and mindset to raise the bar is a must

  • Technical confidence and familiarity with DevOps tools

  • Deep understanding about Linux System. Prior experience as a system administrator is highly desirable

  • Hands on experience with Python or Golang

  • Hands on experience with DNS, Security, Virtualization, Containers, Capacity planning, Kubernetes and at least one of the Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
