Role Overview

We are looking for a unique individual who combines intellect, passion, and relevant professional experience with a proven track record of success to support our Sales organization in Japan. This position reports directly to the APCJ Director of Sales Operations and works in close alignment with the Regional Sales Director of Japan. As a Sales Operations Partner, you will play a key role in supporting, scaling and addressing the needs of the Japan sales team. Your responsibilities will include, (but are not limited to): sales forecasting and reporting, sales performance management, data analysis, sales processes and quote-to cash operational support, project management, and other strategic or ad hoc initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with regional Sales Leader in managing a high-performance sales organization
  • Lead Sales forecasting and pipeline cadence for the region. Ensure day-to-day pipeline discipline and management, sales process execution and adherence to sales policies, identify problems, recommend/ take corrective action and communicate performance results.
  • Ensure accurate effective sales reporting, performance monitoring, high quality SFDC data, Dashboards & Productivity Indicators, metric analysis, sales recognition, and sales operations support activities.
  • Manage planning and sales coverage process across all Sales functions and departments to ensure the sales territories and compensation are set up effectively
  • Launch, manage and complete the implementation of strategic initiatives that enable bookings growth and improve company profitability and efficiency
  • Plan and execute the tactical elements of Sales processes to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness: sales model/processes/methodologies, competencies, productivity metrics, quota planning, coverage model, territory design, lead generation management, departmental communications
  • Work closely and interlock with the extended internal or external cross functional teams (Finance, Legal, Credit Control, Revenue Accounting and Quote to Cash).

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred
  • Strong Salesforce.com, Clari experience preferred and be able to create dashboards, reports.
  • Using Tableau/SQL or similar experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in sales operations or business operations roles
  • Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, problem-solve, and produce results.
