The F5 Digital Sales organization is a dynamic global sales team poised to drive significant revenue growth for the company. Our solutions bridge the gap between NetOps and DevOps, offering multi-cloud application services that span from code to the customer. This role is part of an exciting new team leveraging cutting-edge sales strategies, AI, automation, digital marketing, and big data analytics to catalyze impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage. We are seeking a customer-centric, experienced Digital Sales Account Manager to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be a highly motivated self-starter responsible for achieving assigned sales goals and executing overall sales strategies. You will manage the full sales cycle of F5 solutions, products, and services, with a strong emphasis on NGINX—one of the most widely used web servers and reverse proxies in the world. Your goal is to turn prospects into satisfied repeat customers by effectively utilizing all of F5's strategic partner resources. You will leverage technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist customers in applying F5’s products and services, leading to incremental revenue generation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a high-energy, fast-paced environment across Mexico.

  • Deliver top-tier sales and customer service by identifying clients' digital business gaps and opportunities, utilizing data to provide the right experience at the right time.

  • Manage meetings scheduled by BDR and engage with customers to introduce them to F5's products, with a particular focus on NGINX, application solutions, and services to generate opportunities.

  • Develop relationships and opportunities with channel partners by effectively communicating the value of F5 solutions, particularly NGINX. This includes prospecting, account planning, and lead generation with channel partners.

  • Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the sales cycle from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring regular and effective use of SalesForce.

  • Utilize phone, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and webcasts to develop and deliver professional sales presentations, and effectively close sales.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations for targeted customers.

  • Understand the business needs of organizations and develop applications of products to effectively sell F5’s technical value-added solutions, including NGINX, to meet those needs. This includes developing lists of potential customers, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, creating digital ecosystems to keep customers informed, and following up on sales leads.

  • Collaborate with the field sales team to assess the resources needed to close sales and meet customer expectations.

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report any violations of the Code or other company policies.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to use technology depth, breadth, signals, and data to understand pain points and shape business growth initiatives.

  • Capable of working independently and interacting with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.

  • Proficient in utilizing digital sales tools to track account information and sales progress, and prioritize tasks to achieve quarterly quota goals.

  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong organizational and priority management skills.

  • Able to effectively communicate F5’s value propositions, particularly the benefits of NGINX.

  • Understanding of F5’s business and competitors.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to be fair and firm.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Strong phone sales skills.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of proven Digital Sales experience, preferably in selling technology solutions.

  • Experience working in a team sales environment.

  • Proven history of generating new business and managing sales engagements.

  • Ability to deliver web presentations.

  • At least basic knowledge of NGNIX product portfolio and solutions .

  • BA/BS is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Duties are performed in a home office but some in-person meetings will be required

  • Responsibilities require utilizing a computer, communicating over the telephone, and reading printed material.

  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
