Join our North America Digital Sales Team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern for Summer 2025! In this role, you'll work on impactful projects, gain hands-on experience in a high-performance sales environment, and learn key elements of the BDR function. Through mentorship, training, and real-time sales support, you'll develop a deep understanding of our industry-leading tech stack and learn how to identify and qualify revenue opportunities. You'll also research prospective clients, network with industry professionals, and leverage advanced tools to explore sales prospecting strategies.
Primary Opportunities:
- Lead Nurturing & Qualification: Learn how to nurture inbound leads, supporting early-stage prospects, and identifying qualified opportunities to pass on to our Account Teams.
- Customer Profiling & Engagement: Understand customer personas, manage marketing-qualified leads, and connect with senior executives to schedule introductory meetings.
- Outbound Prospecting: Engage in outbound prospecting with existing customers using social and professional networks to strengthen client relationships.
- Team Engagement: Attend weekly BDR and DTAM Sales Meetings, participate in BDR Enablement initiatives, and collaborate with team members across the organization.
- Presenting: Deliver a presentation on a key project or your overall intern experience to our leadership team.
What We are Looking for
Education: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Economics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science, with at least one term remaining post-internship.
· Skills & Attributes:
- Strong curiosity and self-motivation with a passion for a career in sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups and engaging in direct client outreach.

The hourly U.S. pay range for this position is: $18.00 - $42.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
