F5, Inc. seeks Engineer II in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Identify and leverage novel and innovative data sources on the web to enhance the functionality of our software. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and seamlessly integrate complex software features that align with project objectives. Create comprehensive instructions and visually represent potential vulnerability. Implement robust data collection mechanisms within the software, fortified against potential adversarial attacks, thus ensuring the dependability and security of collected web application data. Develop cutting-edge software tools and utilities that proficiently extract, analyze, and derive valuable insights from the amassed data. Skillfully employ automated testing frameworks to rigorously test and validate software components, thereby ensuring the delivery of top-tier code quality. Adhere meticulously to best practices and the entire software development lifecycle, beginning from the initial design phase through to deployment, all while upholding the integrity and readability of the code. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering (any field), or related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) React; (2) JavaScript/TypeScript; (3) Java; (4) Test Automation Frameworks; (5) HTML/CSS; (6) Web Platform APIs; (7) Git; (8) RESTful API; (9) Node.js.; (10) C/C++; (11) Redux; (12) Golang; (13) Jenkins; (14) MongoDB. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $172,931.00 - $179,494.00 per annum.
