Position Summary:
A Cybersecurity Content Developer and Training Specialist is a Cybersecurity professional responsible for the maintenance and support of Cybersecurity’s many programs (including risk management, compliance, and security training) that meets the parameters prescribed by the Office of the CISO for the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
An individual contributor in the Cybersecurity department that is chartered with supporting the company’s Cybersecurity program with a focus on delivering role-based security training. This role will focus on developing and delivering engaging content to educate specific groups of employees with specialized skills for critical roles (e.g., senior leadership, developers, engineers, and administrators) about meeting the requirements of Cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures. Topics may include secure coding techniques, privileged access, logical security, physical security, and business continuity / disaster recovery.
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
- Develop and Implement Role-Based Security Training:
- Create and execute comprehensive cybersecurity training campaigns tailored to various employee groups in a global organization.
- Develop engaging content, including newsletters, posters, videos, and interactive modules, to reinforce security requirements.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on cybersecurity topics.
- Communication Strategy:
- Collaborate with security engineering and threat intelligence teams to understand current threats and vulnerabilities.
- Design and distribute regular updates on relevant learnings from security incidents, policy changes, and emerging threats.
- Maintain a consistent and clear communication strategy to keep all employees informed and engaged.
- Support and improve security, risk management, and control framework through appropriate role-based cybersecurity training.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Write, edit, and proofread cybersecurity content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Manage and update the organization's cybersecurity role-based security training materials and resources.
- Maintain awareness of external regulations and industry standards for new or modified requirements (FedRAMP, GDPR, PCI-DSS, CCPA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of training campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with HR, Technology Services, and other departments to integrate cyber security role-based training into onboarding and ongoing training programs.
- Provide support for cybersecurity-related queries and concerns from employees.
- Assist in the development / revisions of Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on the effectiveness of communication and training programs.
- Monitor internal compliance against information security governance frameworks through assessments to gauge employee understanding and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on training program outcomes and metrics.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience in security related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity training, communications, or a related role.
- Experience in developing and delivering a role-based security training program.
- Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc. are preferred
- Knowledge with common compliance frameworks like the CIS Critical Controls, NIST SP800, ISO27001
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table and have the ability to work remotely.
- Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
- Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.
In addition, we will need you to meet F5, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role. The background investigation may review an applicant’s actions, relationships, and experiences going back 10 years.

The annual base pay for this position is: $95,200.00 - $142,800.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
