Our Procurement team strives to have the best internal purchasing tools, systems, and processes available anywhere. The Purchasing Coordinator plays a key role in the global procurement operations associated with hardware, software, professional services, facilities, marketing, and technology support. You will collaborate with various internal partners, finance, and vendors to understand current business challenges, identify possible projects and successfully execute the purchasing process for existing and new commodities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute against company policies and purchasing procedures while working closely with internal partners and Accounts Payable. Includes basic procurement request management, contract administration, purchase order placement and systems/documentation maintenance.

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with the supply base and internal customers.

  • Identify vendors that are no longer competitive or meeting service level criteria. Analyze data using logic and reason to make sound decisions/recommendations. Identify and focus on specified metrics.

  • Identify opportunities for more efficient procurement processes.

  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • BA/BS degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1-3 years purchasing experience.

  • Proficient in MS Suite and ERP system experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties of a similar level and resolve issues diplomatically.

  • Pro-active in driving improved procurement strategies and aligning them with broader business strategies.

  • Strong attention to detail.
