Position Summary

A Market leader in Application Delivery Controllers and Security platforms is hiring for its Centre of Excellence office in Hyderabad, India. Join our team of super smart engineers working in a fun, fast-paced, and highly technical environment where your dreams can become reality.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of features and components as well as the automation necessary to test and deploy new features. You are responsible for mentoring junior members in the team, hiring good talent into the organization and responsible following Agile software development practices in the team. You’ll work with architects, leads, Product Management, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to help define and implement solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Excellent software designing skills, with object-oriented concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, and exposure to scripting (python)

  • Very good understanding of Network Protocols and Data Plane architectures

  • Able to explain technical ideas, influence others and excellent in communication skills.

  • Strong analytic / trouble-shooting skills.

  • High performance networking (TCP/IP protocols, drivers, optimization)

  • Linux networking driver and L2 protocol expertise

  • Very good experience in SCM concepts like branching, labelling and in using tools (git or perforce)

  • Good knowledge in Linux user space programing.

  • Comfortable in using debugging tools like gdb, valgrind and static code analysis tools like coverity.

  • Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment.

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications.

  • Minimum 4 years product development experience in networking domain.

  • Should be part Agile software development for a period of 2 year.

Good to Have skills:

  • Linux user space drivers

  • Understanding of High performance data plane architectures like DPDK

  • Ability to work with FPGA developers and HW engineers

  • Experience with hardware acceleration features

  • Crypto/SSL experience

  • Disaggregation

  • Knowledge of docker containers, kubernetes

  • REST based webservices development and microservices

  • Automation using Python, or other scripting languages

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 8 - 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor of Engineering in ECE/Computers or 6 years experience with ME/MTech in ECE/Computers.

  • Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills throughout the organization.

  • Ability to work flexible hours for better collaboration with International teams.
