Position Summary:

You will be solving outstanding and meaningful problems in all aspects of data systems, deployment, monitoring, and operationalization for security products and services! This will help accomplish high SLA, low cost, easy to operate, continuous integration, and continuous delivery/deployment in multiple global environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Build, and operate large scale cloud-based and on-prem data systems ensuring scalability, reliability and security
  • Provide cloud architecture mentorship and implement cloud orchestration solutions to support product capabilities
  • Continuously improve processes and reduce toil using automation
  • Work closely with other engineering teams, data scientists, product, marketing, operation, security, and customer support teams for end-to-end solutions
  • Be a part of on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents as needed

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in technology with an expertise in DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability
  • Engineering), particularly in high-security environments
  • Experienced in data infrastructure engineering or infrastructure engineering with strong interest in data
  • Interest or experience in analyzing and working with large datasets, and proficient at data visualization
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Bash, Go
  • Experience with databases, particularly distributed databases such as MongoDB, Cockroach DB, Vector DB. Familiarity with SQL.
  • Experience with large data pipelines and the tools that enable them – particularly Elastic search/OpenSearch, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Google BigQuery, Google Dataflow and Data Lake/Data Warehouse systems
  • Experience with multi-petabyte data stores
  • Experience with public cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Skilled with Cloud and CI/CD framework/tools, such as Kubernetes, GIT, Docker, etc.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code software tools: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
  • Experience with lifecycle management of containerized, bare metal, and virtualized infrastructure environments
  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, routing, switching, firewall, and load balancer.
  • Rich experience in system administration of Linux like OS systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
  • Self motivated, dedicated and solution oriented individual
  • Bachelor's, master's or PhD in computer science or related engineering field OR equivalent professional experience

Required:

  • US Citizen on US Soil

Desirable Qualification:

  • FedRAMP compliance experience
  • SOC2
  • CIS compliance

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $199,952.00 - $299,928.00
