Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Account Management Professional for the Hong Kong Banking Sector. The successful applicant will be put in charge of major banking clientele in Hong Kong consisting of top local banks and a few multi-national banks. Acting as a multi-cloud application security and delivery technology evangelist for F5 and a trusted client advisor, he/she has the responsibilities to promote, sell and support the successful deployment of F5’s Software and Appliance solutions, SAAS offerings and Cloud Based Managed Security Services within the assigned clientele.

Qualified candidates should have a good understanding of the consumer banking business and are passionate about empowering banking institutions to leverage technologies in supporting and transforming their businesses. He/she should have well established relationships with top local banks and their IT executives and IT managers at different levels. In addition, we are expecting qualified candidates are familiar with the local banking technology eco-system and can collaborate with other technology players to serve the clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas to help achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • Achieve sales quotas and owning the full sales cycle from lead to close.

  • Achieve revenue-based and non-revenue based KPIs assigned.

  • Establish, Nurture and Grow Client Relationship at both the working and executive levels.

  • Work with the channel team to manage, develop and expand partner eco-system to support achieving sales quotas and successful execution of account plan.

  • Continuous effort in understanding the business dynamics and changing needs of your clientele, leverage such insight to form, revise and support your account growth plan. Educate F5 account team of such insight to ensure internal alignment to support account growth and achieve customer satisfaction.

  • Continuous learning in F5’s solution offerings, our competitors’ offerings as well as related IT and industry trends. Well versed in F5’s key solution offerings and value propositions and be a competent F5 solution evangelist in front of customers and channel partners.

  • Actively participate and support company’s marketing activities

  • Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact to the final procurement process. Maintain good sales disciplines and ensure company’s sales forecasting tool is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular and timely basis.

  • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner within and outside the company.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • At least 10 years of quota bearing IT Solution Sales and Account Management experience with the recent 5 years serving the local Banking Sector.

  • Proven Track Records in selling Enterprise Software / Cloud-based Security Software / Modern Application Technologies such as Kubernetes Management, DevOps/SecOps Automation and API Management and Cloud Networking Products.

  • Demonstrable track record in leveraging a team sales approach and multi-stakeholder’s coverage model effectively.

  • Fluent in account plan development

  • Fluent in both Speaking and Written English and Speaking Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.

  • Adaptive with a Can-Do-Attitude

  • Proven IT Management Executives Relationship with local banks.

  • Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills

  • Proven negotiation, Influencing and closing skills

  • Proven abilities in business co-development with channel partners

  • Expert ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload, develop and manage pipeline and forecasting

  • Takes an active interest in understanding the global and local banking trends and related IT technologies

  • Number sensitive and be able to work with data in both sales and business development activities
