You will:

  • Collaborate closely with product and development teams to craft software and product architectures that perfectly embody F5's visionary direction and future ambitions.
  • Take the helm of projects, orchestrating the flow of work across teams while nurturing engineering talent at every level.
  • Forge a dynamic partnership with management to propel product timelines forward, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Dive into cross-functional design projects, offering strategic counsel to management as we chart the course for groundbreaking technological advancements that will shape the future of F5.
  • Pave the way for innovation by pioneering fresh theories, concepts, and methodologies within your specialized domain, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Step into the spotlight both internally and externally, captivating audiences with compelling presentations on product functionality and technical breakthroughs that set the course for our long-term success.

Skills and Qualifications You Have:

  • 10+ years of relevant, work related experience as a software architect.
  • Deep understanding of patterns and distributed architecture.
  • Experience designing and implementing distributed cloud solutions at scale.
  • Experience with load balancers, proxies or with routing products.
  • Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of multi-cloud networking.
  • Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.
  • Experience with data storage, design and data modeling.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $242,360.00 - $363,540.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
