F5, Inc. seeks Sr Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Design, develop and implement complete software components. Design, develop and maintain high-quality code for complex product components. Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions for assigned projects by identifying, resolving and mitigating risk and communicating to stakeholders. Provide technical solutions to detail certain aspects of product design and ensure that resulting design specification fits into technical architectural framework. Perform analysis to define design requirements for modification to existing tools, utilities, system structures and environments and provide technical input into project scope and estimating activities. Recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes and standards. Provides technical guidance to lower-level engineers. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 Seattle office may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) GoLang; (2) Kafka; (3) NoSQL databases; (4) ElasticSearch; (5) Relational databases; (6) Python; (7) Docker Containers; (8) Container Orchestration Systems; (9) Distributed Systems; (10) Backend Systems; and (11) High-volume Applications. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 Seattle office may be required.
