POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an FP&A III to join our team! This role will primarily support development teams for our flagship product, Big-IP. Responsibilities would include headcount management, strategic partnership with business owners, and financial planning. Detailed tracking of expenses is essential to this team’s success with an emphasis on workforce planning, capital expenses, lab budgets, and product roadmaps. BIG IP’s Engineering team efforts on priorities are essential, with the utilization of SQL databases to allocated workforce time. The ideal candidate will have some experience in SQL or a strong aptitude and desire to learn it. As this role works closely with our development teams, a strong interest in technology will help in understanding the product roadmaps and assisting this team to successfully achieve its objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with various business units to align financial support with their strategies and objectives.
  • Finalize and distribute financial reporting packages to senior management as part of the monthly close cycle
  • Work within F5's internal budgeting system to track and update rolling forecasts and headcount with high attention to detail.
  • Generate financial impact analysis for strategic investments
  • Maintain and drive analytics from SQL reporting database
  • Enhance functionality of BIG-IP SQL reporting database
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and FUN!

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced business and data analysis skills including building reports, complex spreadsheets in excel, and databases to measure business performance
  • Strong ability to manage data across various sources and multiple platforms; with the ability to query, sort, merge, combine, and summarize
  • Ability to derive clear, well supported recommendations based on detailed analysis of the given issue
  • Communication skills and comfort in speaking to senior leadership with strong presentation design through PowerPoint or Dashboards.
  • Ability or aptitude to write moderately complex SQL or equivalent scripting language

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work history sufficient for a FP&A III, typically Finance related degree and 4+ years' experience in FP&A.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position allows for a flexible hybrid working environment, where employees are expected to work in the office 30 days per quarter.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $86,841.00 - $130,261.00
