Our teams empower organizations across the globe to create, secure, and run applications that enhance how we experience our evolving digital world. We are passionate about cybersecurity, from protecting consumers from fraud to enabling companies to focus on innovation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our Chertsey, Surrey based EMEA Payroll team. It is a hybrid position with an element of office attendance. As part of our F5 Networks` EMEA Finance function, our team coordinates and delivers the accurate and compliant payroll and related accounting activities of 25 countries across our EMEA Theatre.

You will be systems savvy with experience of outsourced and end-to-end monthly UK payroll (knowledge of payrolls in other EMEA countries would be an advantage). You will bring your passion for payroll, strong Excel experience, analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Our role will partner internally with our Payroll team members and our broader Finance team and this role will report to our EMEA Payroll Manager. You will thrive with resolving employee queries and collaborating with the members of other teams – such as HR, Benefits and Tax – and therefore use your superb communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling the monthly payroll cycle of various regional payrolls; initially, the role will focus on the UK along with a couple of low-headcount EMEA payrolls of circa 350 employees in total

  • Liaising with F5 teams and outsourced payroll providers

  • Coordinate payroll payments and involvement in month-end processes including preparation of payroll journals and reconciliations

  • Arranging year-end and other annual statutory reporting (P11D, PSA, ERS, STBV, gender gap reporting)

  • Ensuring consistent processes and controls for SOX compliance

  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and from other departments

  • Performing ad-hoc duties and involvement in country specific / region wide projects as and when required

Your skills, experience and qualifications:

  • University degree or payroll qualification required or equivalent professional payroll experience

  • Outsourced/in-house payroll experience (ADP Streamline / iHCM experience desired)

  • A validated ability to work with a variety of paperless systems (Workday, T&A system experience desired)

  • Experience in processing stock compensation and flexible benefits would be a benefit for our working environment

  • Knowledge of and experience of working with compliance and audits (SOX experience is preferred)

  • Solid understanding in the use of Excel and data manipulation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in English; additional language(s) would be an advantage

  • Ability to prioritise, problem solve and work to deadlines

  • Close attention to detail
