Primary areas of focus:

Marketing automation and email best practice implementation and daily operations across AMER, EMEA and APCJ. The Marketing Operations Specialist implements all incoming and outgoing Marketo program requests globally, including but not limited to: event program builds (emails and landing pages), webinar program builds, landing pages for digital activities, landing page customization (HTML, CSS, custom scripting) nurture engagement program builds, and program master management. The role is also responsible for database management tasks including lead imports, image library maintenance and data governance.

He or she works closely with the global operations manager, database administrator and regional operations managers, to ensure projects are managed and delivered to stakeholders within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) while maintaining quality and brand consistency.


  • Project manages email campaigns and nurture streams ensuring adherence to standards and best practices, which enable email campaign performance reporting and optimization.

  • Partners with regional marketing managers to develop and implement landing pages, email and nurture campaigns in multiple countries and languages.

  • Manages the marketing operations project intake queue to ensure timely response to stakeholders

  • Delivers projects according to the SLA

  • Manages proofing cycles with regional marketers to ensure quality delivery of projects

  • Become an expert in the F5 brand to ensure email consistency, suggesting copy edits when necessary

  • Commitment to regular database maintenance and hygiene efforts in coordination with the global database administrator

  • Periodically reviews and suggests refinements to the campaign intake processes, project triaging and production line to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Develops and publishes project tracking status reports

  • Creates project specifications and documentation in the project management tool including scope of work, print specification, functional requirements, wireframe and service level agreements as required.

  • Minimizes exposure and risk on a project.

  • Manages translation requests with translation vendor when necessary

  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

  • Collects input from internal customers and external partners to determine resource needs and project requirements.

  • Partners with manager to manage and communicate status of email campaigns, their priorities and delivery timelines.

  • Manages multiple email campaigns simultaneously.

  • Understands key business processes, documents process flows when necessary and initiates new developments based on industry best practices.

  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.


  • 2+ years in marketing automation platform (Marketo required)

  • 2+ years in CRM platform (Salesforce preferred).

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 1+ years in demand generation, analytics reporting (Tableau preferred) and AEM Landing page build.

  • Experience in project management tools (Wrike, ServiceNow, Slack or the alike).

  • Understanding of CSS, HTML.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven experience in creating documentation in support of marketing department objectives and measurement.

  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. High level of professionalism, customer orientation, energy and sense of passion toward the application of technology in business.

  • Experience working in a marketing or advertising environment required.


  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table

  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material

  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)

  • Duties may require some travel to trade shows
