Role Overview:

F5’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team provides real estate and operations solutions globally. The team builds and maintains the innovative, invigorating work environment that enables our employees to focus on providing great products to our customers. Our goal is to design, secure, and optimize our global workspaces to align with F5's culture, encourage collaboration and elevate the employee experience.

The Manager of Corporate Operations for the Asia Pacific China and Japan region, excluding India, is responsible for overseeing the team management, and tasks associated with F5's facilities and operations for all offices in the region to providing excellent customer service to our F5 team. This role is based in the Singapore office and manages the day-to-day facilities operations in the office and other offices in the region as needed. Responsibilities include repair and maintenance of the facility, space planning for team reconfigurations, managing operations staff, shipping/mail services, vendor management, food services, and emergency programs.

This role involves management, and mentorship of support staff, providing support for F5's expanding global lease portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Management duties include the supervision of nonexempt and exempt level staff. This includes but is not limited to, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance improvement plans, taking disciplinary action, and interviewing candidates for open positions.
  • Collaborate with GWS team at the Seattle headquarters to execute projects, attend project meetings and manage the corporate operations expense budget in the region.
  • Management of the facilities security in the region to include: Securing offices, access badge issuance, CCTV, ISO 27001 audits and customer assessments. Collaborate with the GWS Headquarters Security leader to provide globally consistent solutions.
  • Evaluate, select and manage Vendors related to HVAC repairs for MDF rooms & labs, maintenance of UPS systems, generator, lab cleaning, and other maintenance contracts.
  • Ensure regional corporate operations team successfully manages the following responsibilities:
    • Onsite maintenance –janitorial, total recycling services, transportation and service contracts
    • Business services – office supplies and inventories, beverages, massage therapy, new employee kits, employee relocations, furniture reconfigurations, shipping services, etc.
    • Manage direct report office managers and coordinate with in-direct report office contacts for management of all F5's direct leased and serviced offices in the region. (Currently 11 direct leased and 13 serviced offices in APCJ)
  • Facilitate staff training for life safety preparedness per local jurisdictional requirements and coordinate with the Landlord. Participate and help lead F5’s Incident Response Team related to Corporate office requirements

What you will bring:

  • 6-8 years’ experience in corporate office management and or property management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid operational experience managing a 80K-100K SF global facilities portfolio
  • Experience successfully managing people, 3 to 5 Direct Reports

  • The position involves work on-site as an office-based role.
  • Duties are generally performed in an office environment, with a high level of mobility required throughout the facility. Work while seated at a desk or a computer table may necessitate the use of a computer, telephone communication, and reading of printed materials.
  • Job requires moving around the office the ability to lift up to 22.68 kg (50 lbs).
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
