Overview:
You will get to join a pivotal team that owns the systems used by F5ers in their day-day life & used throughout their SDLC lifecycle, Welcome to CEDI.

CEDI is a team, primarily focusing on all the applications developers use for their Planning (like JIRA), Source Code Management (Git), Git Runners (pipelines), JFrog-Artifactory (Artefact storage), F5 GPT (GPT solution internal to F5), Security Scanning tools (Checkmarx, Mend) and other systems.

Through this role as an SRE-II in the CEDI team, you will be responsible towards all CEDI Services and will be leading the efforts for F5 GPT Development in India.
F5 GPT responsibilities include Deployment, Automation, Monitoring and Support. This position requires you to have strong and demonstrable SRE Skills and experience in any scripting and programming language.

What you will do:
• 3+ years of relevant working experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Relevant Experience in working on GPT like or Other AI systems is preferred.
• Experience in maintaining and running applications like Gitlab, Gitlab Runners, JFrog-Artifactory is desired.
• Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes administration experience, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is required.
• Automation: Adapt an automation approach to solving problems.
o Experience in scripting with any of Shell / Python is required.
o Experience in any configuration tools like Ansible/ Chef / Puppet is required.
o Exposure to any programming language is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud providers - AWS/Azure.
• Monitoring: Experience in any Monitoring tool like – Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana, Nagios is required.
• Exposure to Vulnerability management tool, like Qualys is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including systems failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to support end-users' ability to use the systems effectively.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:
• A code-first approach to managing resources in at least two areas such as cloud platforms, SaaS platforms, containerization, or orchestration.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery, DevOps principles and associated tools and technologies.
• Knowledge in technology systems including infrastructure or SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Understanding cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral member of an agile team
• Experience with observability tooling including logging infrastructure, time series metrics databases, tracing systems, alert definitions, etc.
• Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines

Qualifications:
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience in SRE role.
• Or an advanced degree with relevant work experience in SRE role.
• Proficiency with at least one scripFng and programming language.
