We are seeking a program manager for our enterprise-wide Business and IT Transformation Program. As the program manager of the Enterprise PMO, your near-term responsibilities will be to proactively ensure this mission-critical and highly-complex program executes with alignment to its business outcomes, guiding principles, timelines, and quality. This role is a key driver in identifying, tracking, and mitigating program risks. This role will also probe, mentor, and guide each workstream to ensure transparency and accuracy in their progress.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and managing multiple simultaneous projects to meet Enterprise Resilience program delivery
- Develop and actively manage project plans, schedules, risks, budgets, and resources to deliver program objectives
- Lead and direct matrixed project teams to deliver projects on time, budget, and scope
- Proactively identify project risks, roadblocks, and strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
- Participate in and/or lead the development of key project deliverables (e.g., charter, project plan, issue logs, test plan, cutover plan, etc.)
- Ensure upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned across all levels from team members to senior leadership
- Establish program rhythm of business – including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadership
- Serve as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, course-correcting as needed
- Create and monitor measures of success / KPIs for the program and projects
- Improve processes and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the entire project and service lifecycle
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools – Jira/Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, SharePoint, Confluence, or equivalent tools
- Extensive experience in documenting and maintaining project plans, risk/issue logs, action item logs, and other project management related tools to help achieve project success
- Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and manage multiple projects at once in parallel
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills to drive projects across multiple programs, manage stakeholder expectations, and present project information
- Ability to explain technical or complex issues and concerns in non-technical ways
- Ability to deliver results while working with remote, virtual, and cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Exceptional presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Capability to manage multiple contexts and identify connections between them
- Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with diverse internal and external partners at all levels
- Proficient understanding on financial models, accounting, metrics, value attribution, measurement
Qualifications
- 5 years related experience with a minimum of 3 years in project management at technology-based companies or in technical domains
- Experience in business strategy or business model transformations a plus
- Experience in large software application transformations or ERP implementations a plus
- Former management consultant background plus
- BS/BA degree in a computer/business related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development (SDLC), agile and project lifecycles & methodologies, and other PM best practices; and know when to use them effectively
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent preferred.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $144,302.00 - $216,452.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
