We seek a Program Manager to join our dynamic HR team, specifically focusing on driving transformative change in Performance Management. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the VP of Culture and Talent Development and the Manager of Talent Management to conceive, construct, and sustain a unified and integrated performance management framework that will empower F5 employees to thrive and excel. Your efforts will directly contribute to cultivating a human-first & high-performance culture aligned with F5 strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

In partnership with the VP of Culture and Talent Development, the Manager of Talent Management, HR colleagues and the business:

  • Provide expertise and support to the Performance Management initiatives to achieve business and people strategies.
  • Provide expertise and drive the performance management process design, development, and product ownership in a way that supports our transforming company and culture.
  • Participate in defining an integrated performance management framework, potentially including performance assessments, performance discussions, talent conversations, etc.
  • Communicate collective outcomes for interconnected initiatives across multiple stakeholders. Seeks product feedback through existing channels (connection meetings with HRBPs, other HR Teams, Executives, etc.)
  • Oversee performance management initiatives, coordinating efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing resources across projects while continually managing risk, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in talent management, performance management, organizational development, and/or change management, preferably in a global organization.
  • Experience leading talent programs and processes in partnership with HR Business Partners and other teams within HR, as well as partnering with executives within the business for advising and support as needed.
  • Ability to build solid relationships, communicate, and influence at a senior level across the business and HR partners.
  • Experience developing HR processes and process mapping through the lens of employees as customer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations; exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Strong knowledge of how to successfully implement culture development initiatives with intention and in support of the company's intended strategic outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of human-centric approach to design and change management philosophies.
  • Proactively assess risk across projects, take action to mitigate them, and create contingency plans. Makes decisions on whether to trigger contingency plans independently and communicates to stakeholders/management.
  • Influences key leadership and global HR initiatives and proactively engages others.
  • Excellent communicator (written and oral); demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills, including listening for detail, empathetic listening, and a focus on creating an outstanding employee experience.
  • Willing to focus and commit with a learner mindset and strong work ethic; reliable, self-directed, and inventive.
  • Guides individuals and teams through organizational change, providing support, communication, and resources to minimize resistance and facilitate successful adoption. Familiarity with change management principles and approaches.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Seeks out relevant information to generate innovative ideas and creative solutions to HR challenges, adapting to evolving business needs and industry trends.
