Position Summary

The Senior Tax Analyst - International Indirect will be integral to the corporate tax team, supporting global indirect tax analysis, process improvements, and various business initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor global VAT and GST developments; communicate and implement compliance strategies as required
  • Monitor and communicate e-invoice requirements and develop and implement compliance strategies as required
  • Monitor and communicate changes in digital service taxes and develop and implement compliance strategies as required
  • Support analysis and documentation of indirect tax implications related to business initiatives and effectively communicate requirements to internal partners
  • Work with internal technology partners to establish and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure accurate, timely tax compliance
  • Support foreign indirect tax audits
  • Prepare and maintain documentation supporting indirect tax positions
  • Review indirect tax returns
  • While the role is primarily focused on indirect tax, other responsibilities may include supporting corporate income tax analysis and other related tasks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of VAT and GST tax laws, compliance, and technology best practices
  • Experience dealing with tax authorities, including tax inspections and audits, a plus
  • Experience working with financial reporting tools
  • Experience working in complex indirect tax jurisdictions (e.g., India) is a plus
  • Experience maintaining a tax engine is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and other internal stakeholders across the F5 organization


  • 3-5 years of international indirect tax experience working in a multi-national public accounting firm or corporate tax department
  • Professional tax or accounting qualification, CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s level preferred

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $85,724.00 - $128,586.00
